About Us

In business since 1985, Corsets by Casta Diva products have ventured all over the country participating in shows such as: Renaissance faires, anime conventions, tattoo shows, Celtic festivals, and much more. Corsets by Casta Diva crafts its products according to each customer’s specifications. The result is a one-of-a-kind, durable, and stylish product that utilizes the same boning used within prescription back braces.

Corsets by Casta Diva is owned by fashion designer Lelia Chamberlain, a graduate of the prestigious Boston Conservatory. Lelia's influence to create original corsets originated from her admiration of her Great Aunt Minerva King Patch's personal collections. Aunt "Min" is Texan royalty. Her family started the King Ranch, the largest cattle ranch in the country.

Lelia was discovered by opera great Beverly Sills of the New York City Opera. Shortly after being hired by Ms. Sills, Lelia's original fashion designs premiered on the stage of the New York Lincoln Center.

Lelia has designed corsets for such performers as grand opera great Placido Domingo. Other stars wearing her fashions include Grammy award winning artist Michelle Branch, The Commodores, The Spinners, Tavares, David Robertson of The Cars, and WWE Star Stacy Kiebler.

Corsets By Casta Diva has set up shops at various festivals, including the Massachusetts Tattoo and Art Festival, the Atlanta Tattoo Festival, the New Jersey Renaissance Kingdom, and the South Florida Renaissance Festival, the New York Renaissance Faire, and Dragon Con, a multimedia convention that focuses on science fiction and fantasy. In addition to a brick-and-mortar storefront, Corsets by Casta Diva travels the country, selling its hand-crafted goods and always seeking to expand its market reach.
